Miss Africa contestant found stabbed to death next to her daughter

 Model & former Miss Africa contestant, 29 year old Linah Keza was stabbed to death on Wednesday July 31st in her home in front of her 3 year old daughter, Holly.
Neighbours who responded to her call for help found the Rwanda-born model in a pool of blood in her London flat next to her crying daughter.
Linah's off/on boyfriend and father of her child, club promoter David Kikawa, 38, (pictured above with Linah) has been arrested in connection with her death. According to neighbours, David was a regular visitor at her flat until about two weeks ago. They told police he was jealous and possessive and frequently fought with Linah.
Linah's home had a panic button fixed when she alerted the police about cases of domestic violence. Sad. RIP, Linah!

Confusion as striking ASUU threatens to cancel already-written Post-UME examination

                                           
                                              

Thousands of candidates who sat for this year’s post-university matriculation examinations (Post-UME) while lecturers were on strike may have written the examination in vain.

This is as the workers have denied being part of the exercise.

Briefing newsmen at a conference called by the Ibadan Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities,ASUU, at the Lagos State University, Ojo, the Zonal Coordinator, Adesola Nassir, alleged that some schools hastily conducted the examination in order to make money from the candidates.

The Ibadan Zone of ASUU comprises University of Lagos (UNILAG), University of Ibadan (UI), Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Lagos State University (LASU), University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (UNAAB), and Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED).

The brutal killing of Delsu student, Ify Gabriel Nwainokpor & friend

On Sunday 21st July 2013, Ify Gabriel Nwainokpor and his friend Kasim were attacked and beaten to death by a mob at the Ajara area of Badagry on the ground that their faces looked strange in the neighborhood, this is according to the people who posted the video of their lynching on Youtube.

They claim that the Nigerian Police (Badagry division) watched as these men were hacked to death before their prime. They are crying out to the world for justice and brought the barbaric incident to the attention of the media. Another lynching? This is unbelievable.
