And the G.O.O.D Pastor says “Can’t Tell Me Nothing”

' i had a dream i could buy my way to heaven. when i woke, i spent that on a necklace'-kanye west
I’ve tried my best to ignore this man of church and the blog news buzzing cause you know how our people be talking — don’t judge a man of God. Literally, I’m just reviewing a man dressed up like a two-step champion with Kanye’s ross golg Jesus piece around his neck. People like this are my ignorance muse.
In case you don’t know, allow me to introduce you to Pastor Oritsejafor, the CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria) president. He was criticised by many 2weeks ago when he received (claimed) a private jet as a birthday gift from his church members. Do you know how much a private jet cost? Not to talk of parking & maintenance money? He also owns a white stretch limo and checks in 5star hotel suites. He’s ballin yo!
Pastor Oritsejafor, yesterday, in an interview with Vanguard Newspapers responded to his critics, he said: “Owning a private jet is a necessity, not a luxury”. Not a Luxury, uh? Cute. You might want to check the dictionary for the definition of luxury. Plus, that’s lukewarm. Straight up I was like ya’ll can’t tell this n-gga nothing, then Kanye’s barz on “Can’t Tell Me Nothin” hit me.
“So if the devil wears Prada, Adam and Eve wear nada. I’m in between but way more fresher” – Kanye West
Let RapGenious.com explain the Kanye line: The devil — who is evil — wears Prada, an expensive designer brand. Kanye equates the devil to the materialism addressed earlier in the song. When Adam and Eve were still innocent and pure, they were naked. By saying that he’s somewhere in between means that he’s not wholly materialistic, but also no choirboy. Either He’s not sure if he’s good or evil because he has both in him, but he is sure that nothing will stop him from wearing nice clothes and incessantly tweeting about how good he looks.
Moral decadence. If you want to be a church boy, be a church boy; if you want to be shot-caller, come on let’s go to the strip club and live it up. There are 21 religions in the world, one might need to walk away from where God is business. Some of these pastors even charge gate fees for crossover nights in their churches. I think these pastors are losing their balance. God help us
